A named pool on the Tweed for centuries, The Junction sits where the Teviot joins the main river at Kelso. It is amongst the most celebrated salmon beats in Scotland – quietly managed, carefully fished, and held in trust for the next generation.
Under new ownership, the fishery is entering a considered new chapter. Rod numbers remain restrained – four to six rods at any one time, depending on season. Guests are looked after by a small, knowledgeable ghillie team. The river sets the pace.

The Tweed is one of the great salmon rivers of the northern hemisphere. The Junction is a privileged place on it, and we hold it lightly.
Rod numbers are capped. Catch and release is absolute. We work alongside the River Tweed Commissioners and local conservation bodies to protect spawning grounds, juvenile habitat, and water quality.
